“Morris Animal Inn in Morristown, NJ is a very well run, wonderfully staffed and multifunctional pet respite. They screen pets carefully, know your pet’s likes and dislikes. MAI is flexible for us as pet parents. They offer social groups of similar size and personality dogs, have close circuit observation for off hours boarding as well as appropriate detectors and generators. For my recent adult rescue they are helping to socialize her, soft train her and offer bathing and grooming. Its very reassuring and supportive. You can call for an update any time. We have used all of the above services.”
Feeding Details
During their stay, all dogs are served premium, veterinarian-recommended food. Our carefully selected meals are both tasty and gentle on the stomach, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our canine visitors. We offer a variety of options, including dry and canned food. If you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your pet’s regular food, conveniently packed in individual servings. We can also accommodate specific feeding schedules or special dietary needs for a small fee.
To help your pup settle in, we suggest reducing their food intake on the day of check-in, as excitement may impact their appetite. Additionally, we recommend limiting food and water for the first few hours after returning home to allow them to adjust before their next meal.
Yappy Hour! – Every day around 5pm, we host a Happy Hour for our canine guests! During this time, each dog enjoys a delicious “Happy Hour” treat to help them relax after a fun-filled day at Morris Animal Inn. If your pet has specific dietary requirements, please let us know at check-in.
