Cait joined the Morris Animal Inn (MAI) team in 2022. She is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. She went on to receive her Masters in Canine Life Sciences from Bergin College of Canine Studies. Cait has numerous certifications including being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), Certified Behavior Consultant- Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), is a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP) and recently passed the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultant’s (IAABC) course on Animal Behavior Consulting: Principles & Practices.
With a robust training department at MAI, Cait appreciated the positive reinforcement environment and the long-term history of excellence in the pet care industry and knew this was the place for her. In 2022, she came in as a Trainer Level 3 before being promoted to the Daycare and Training Assistant Manager. As the Daycare and Training Assistant Manager, Cait is dedicated to supporting her teams and other teams while working with the dogs in her care. She’s passionate about working with clients during private training sessions and mentoring clients and staff alike. She loves watching the dogs and humans blossom while developing new skills.
Cait has a 9-year-old American Pitbull Terrier, Amber who was rescued from See Spot Rescued in Jersey City and Yoru, a 7-year-old Domestic medium haired cat who was rescued from Randolph Animal Shelter. In her spare time, Cait paints Bob Ross landscapes, does cross stitch, reads Kurt Vonnegut, plays video games and spends time with her husband.
