Ashley initially became a part of the Morris Animal Inn (MAI) team in 2022, joining as a Pet Care Specialist. During her time at our Morristown location, she was promoted to Team Leader. After a brief hiatus, she returned to MAI in 2025 as a Pet Care Supervisor and has since advanced to the role of Pet Care Assistant Manager.
With a deep passion for animals, Ashley has accumulated ten years of experience in pet care. Her background includes working as a dog trainer and volunteering at various animal shelters. She earned her FEAR Free™ certification at Morris Animal Inn and also holds a Professional Pet Boarding Certificate as well as a Pet First Aid/CPR certification.
Ashley has fun training new staff members, sharing the Morris Animal Inn philosophy, and serving as a positive representative of the Pet Care and Lodging team. She finds joy in witnessing her team members grow and enhance their pet care skills. Additionally, she enjoys building bonds with more anxious or nervous pet guests, discovering innovative ways to help them feel at ease. The rewarding experience of bringing these timid pets out of their shells is something she cherishes.
At home, Ashley has a 1-year-old German Shepherd, a 9-year-old Rottweiler Lab, a 7-year-old Labradoodle, and a 3-year-old iguana. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, visiting cow farms, and watching horror movies. She is also dedicated to giving back, frequently volunteering at shelters during her spare time.
