Service Updates:

Lodging:  Can’t wait to see your pets! We are open and available to take lodging reservations.

Daycare: Is in full swing! Don’t let your pets miss out on all the fun. Call us today to schedule your daycare appointments!

Grooming: Need your dog bathed and brushed out?  We have appointments available right away!  There maybe a little longer wait for our pet styling/haircut services. Submit your grooming request online request form.  We are working hard to schedule everyone as quickly as possible.

Lobby Hours:  We are here Monday – Friday 7am – 7pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am – 4pm to answer your calls and receive arrivals & departures. For everyone’s safety we are providing curbside valet services for all our pet guests.  At the time your reservation or appointment is confirmed, we will provide specific instructions.

Facility Tours: To provide the healthiest environment for employees we have temporarily suspended facility tours.

Service Updates:

Lodging:  We continue to maintain essential staff, on a daily basis, to care for the pets staying with us and our calendar is now open to accommodate any future lodging requests.

Grooming: We have just received word we are permitted to open our grooming salon. As we prepare for your next visit, we are taking requests via our online request form.

We are working to put together a new grooming calendar based on social distancing requirements and available staff.  As soon as appointments become available, we will contact you to set up a time that is convenient for you.

Lobby Hours:  Our Lobby is closed to the public. For those who have scheduled appointments, we will be providing curbside valet service.  At the time your reservation or appointment is confirmed, we will provide specific times for drop off and pick up.

When you arrive, call or text and we will be out momentarily to assist you.

Facility Tours: Facility tours are currently not available.

Dear Morris Animal Inn Community,

We feel it is very important for Morris Animal Inn to play our part in the fight against COVID-19.

Lodging:  We will maintain essential staff, on a daily basis, to care for the pets that are staying with us and to accommodate any requests for 1st Responders, Health Care Workers and any pet parent that might need our assistance.

If you know your plans have changed and you will no longer need your reservation please let us know as soon as possible.

Grooming: If you currently have an upcoming grooming reservation we will contact you in the next few days to reschedule your appointment.

Daycare: If you are a 1st Responder, Health Care provider or have an emergency situation and need daycare services please contact us to make arrangements.

Lobby Hours:  Our Lobby will be open by appointment only until April 6th. If your pet is staying with us or you have an upcoming lodging reservation we will be in touch to coordinate a specific time.

How to reach us:  We will be available to answer and return calls Monday – Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am – 2pm.

If you can’t reach us immediately by phone we are prioritizing the care of the dogs and cats staying with us. We will do everything we can to get back to you as quickly as possible.

We anticipate being fully operational as quickly as possible. If it becomes necessary to extend the two-week period we will communicate that to everyone as soon as possible. As we continue to monitor the ongoing situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), we feel it is our responsibility to protect the health and well-being of our employees and our clients. We appreciate you understanding that these changes are difficult for all of us and wanted to make you aware that your Morris Animal Inn experience may change slightly but the quality care your pet receives will remain exceptional!

Curbside Valet Assistance

We are implementing Curbside Valet Assistance for Drop off & Pick up for all pet care services.

Please remain in or near your car. Our team is ready to greet you and your pet as you arrive.

At Drop Off - A Team Member will check you in, confirm instructions, collect any belongings (please limit the belongings) and bring in your dog or cat.

At Pick Up - A Team Member will be on the lookout for your arrival but please do not hesitate to call or text us at (973) 539-0377 to inform us that you’ve arrived. We'll bring your pet to your car and payment will be processed using the credit card we have on file or you may provide payment over the phone in advance.

Temporary Lobby Hours & Curbside Valet Assistance

Monday - Friday: 7am – 10am & 4pm – 7pm
Saturday: 8am -10am & 2pm – 4pm
Sunday: 10am – 12pm & 3pm – 4pm

Please note: Times outside of these lobby hours for pick up or drop off can be scheduled by calling (973) 539-0377. Although lobby hours are abbreviated, our staff will still be here caring for all of our pet guests.

Check Out Time

Due to our shortened pick up hours we will temporarily be waiving our lodging check-out time.

Facility Tours

We’re temporarily suspending facility tours. If you have an immediate need please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and communicate updates. If you need to reach us and our response is not as quick as normal, please know we’re prioritizing the pets in our care.

We are all being impacted by the current global outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As we navigate this rapidly changing worldwide situation, our main focus continues to be on the health, safety and security of our team members and those in the community we serve.

Morris Animal Inn has always practiced the highest health and safety standards.
Our building is specifically designed to provide a healthy environment with features such as:

  • (20) separate air handling systems
  • 24-hour fresh air exchange intake system with (14) exhaust fans
  • Ultraviolet air purification system throughout, emphasizing strategic locations
  • Hospital grade disinfectants

We have additionally taken the following steps:

Upon the first reporting of the Coronavirus we have stepped up our efforts and added proactive health and safety measures. For your ongoing peace of mind, we’d like you to be aware that we have implemented the following:

  • Increased frequency of disinfection of common areas with hospital-grade disinfectant
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations for team members and our clients
  • Team members who are not feeling well are instructed to stay home.
  • We have asked team members that have recently traveled or who are at risk to stay home.
  • We are limiting face-to-face interviews and using video communication when possible.
  • We have suspended group meetings/gatherings.
  • We are working with our employees to adjust schedules so they can attend to children and family members that are impacted by school and changed work schedules.
  • We understand your travel plans and pet care needs are uncertain and changing. We are happy to waive last minute cancellation or adjustment fees to accommodate.

How you can help:

If you have been traveling internationally, feel you have been exposed or feel uncomfortable entering our lobby please let us know. We will arrange your check in or check out process in advance and will come out to your car for your pet’s arrival or departure.
Please eliminate or limit the personal items you would normally pack for your pet’s stay.
Please let us know as your pet care needs change so we can plan our staffing accordingly.

As new information comes to light and we gain a deeper understanding of the situation at hand, we will react to every challenge.

We sincerely appreciate and never take for granted, your trust, your support, your patronage and your friendship. In this challenging and unprecedented situation, we will do everything we possibly can to continue providing quality pet care while ensuring safety and good health for the Morris Animal Inn community.
