Sarah Metzger, grooming manager at Morris Animal Inn in Morristown, N.J. was recently interviewed by the Daily Paws about grooming tips for Labradoodles. Labradoodles have become increasingly popular over the years and it’s obvious why. They are playful, sweet, and have a wonderful fluffy appearance. Listed below are tips and tricks on how to maintain that beautiful and fluffy coat at home.
Labradoodles require regular grooming to look and feel their best. Sarah recommends that you “talk to your groomer and trust the tools they suggest and ask them to show you the best way to brush!”. Maintaining your Labradoodles coat at home means you’re keeping their coat healthy and saving money in the long run. If brushing becomes too much of a hassle for you, try booking “brush maintenance appointments every two weeks depending on the style you’re trying to achieve, as well as bath appointments in-between haircuts.”
Sarah shares more tips and tricks about grooming Labradoodles and some haircut styles in the Daily Paws article at https://www.dailypaws.com/dogs-puppies/dog-grooming/labradoodle-haircuts.
